The Bald Eagle is a endangered animal. It is black
with a white head. It eats small animals like fish,
rodents, birds, snakes and rabbits. It lives in high
treetops and mountains. It swoops down and catches
it's prey. This bird is our national emblem.
It's body is 60 to 90 centimeters long, with a wingspan
of 3 to 5 feet. The largest eagle is 39 inches and
has a wingspan of 8 feet. The smallest is 16 inches.
It has markings on it's head, wing and tail.
It's not really bald. It has white feathers on it's head.
