The Washington National Cathedral
by Ben
The National Cathedral took 83 years to build. It's proper name is the
Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul. It is more than 200 feet tall.
It is a tenth of a mile long. It was completed on September 29, 1990.
The biggest organ pipe can be crawled through. It has three rose windows.
This is the sixth largest cathedral ever built. The only president buried
there was Woodrow Wilson. Also, Martin Luther King preached there.
