The bumble bee is a hairy bug with a stinger. It is not very big. It is black and yellow. The bumble bee has six legs and four see-through wings.
Bumble bees live all over the world. They live in groups. They make their nests in grass or in little holes. Bumble bees eat nectar, sap, pollen, and fruit juice.
It takes 22 days for a bumble bee to change from an egg to a bee. The queen bees are the only ones who can lay eggs. The queen bees are the only ones who live through the winter.
