Nkruma Kwame

This stamp commemorates Nkruma Kwame. Africans used to be workers for the Ducth, French and other Europeans. These workers were called slaves. Nkruma Kwame fought for many years to get Africa freedom. That way the Gold Coast became the first black nation to regain it's freedom. In 1960 Nkruma Kwame became President of the Gold Coast. Today the Gold Coast is called Ghana.
