Tall Tale Stories Third grade Class from Washington State tell their version of tall tales and add new ones.







Johnny Appleseed Home Page For forty-nine years, John Chapman ("Johnny Appleseed") roamed the American wilderness, devotedly planting apple trees. He created apple orchards in the wildernesses of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana, spanning an estimated area of 100,000 square miles.


2nd grade student projects The children in Mrs. Pratt's second grade class have created computer drawings and written paragraphs about a legendary character in American history, Johnny Appleseed.
