Frank Zappa was born in Baltimore on December 21, 1940 
was famous for his many different kinds of music. 
He loved and preformed modern/alternative rock, pop, 
jazz, jazz vocal, and pop rock.  He was one of the most 
accomplished composers of the rock era. His music combined 
contemporary classical with a love for the doo wop rock of 
the late 50's.  Zappa became interested in music as a child. 
He attended 
Chaffy College in Alta Loma, California.  During on of his 
performances at the Rainbow Theatre in London, Zappa was 
pushed from the stage by a demented fan and was seriously injured.  
Frank died of Cancer on December 4, 1993.
