P is for PELICAN

Pelicans are white and black birds with orange beaks. Their feet are also orange. They live near water. Baby pelicans are called fledglings. Pelicans are big birds. They only eat fish. They live in North America. They catch their food by diving. My Beanie Baby is Scoop the Pelican. He was born July 1,1996. He is blue with an orange beak and orange feet.
